A FUN & FELLOWSHIP EVENT   -   POTLUCK DINNER & "PIGEON PATTER"

DATE: Friday April 27

TIME: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

LOCATION: West Flamboro Presbyterian Church - 262 Middletown Road at Highway #8

PRESENTER: Richard McCormick - Pigeon Aficianado & Animal Judge

ADMISSION: Please bring your favourite potluck dish (no pigeon contents please!)

One of: Main Course, Salad or Dessert

Our evening presenter is Richard McCormick from the Niagara Region. Richard has been involved for many years in Animal Judging at Fairs and other venues across Southern Ontario. One of his main interests is Homing Pigeons. He is very proud of his flock and has won many awards from participation for several years in Homing Pigeon Contests.

These birds are nothing short of amazing! No matter where Richard hauls them and drops them off (say in Algonquin Park for example) the flock will find their way home to Niagara.

How do Homing Pigeons find "HOME"?

What kind of natural "GPS" is built into these feathered friends?

Do they successfully navigate day or night?

C'mon out, enjoy the meal together and get your Pigeon Curiosity satisfied!

A community event organized by WFPC's "FUN & FELLOWSHIP GROUP"

Everyone is welcome - please invite family, neighbours & friends!
